Effective Immediately!

Your ACAC board members have approved a simple, streamlined method for recertification.

Changes:

We no longer require notarized signatures for recertification applications (we already have it once).

We are significantly increasing the credits for continuing field experience (10 RCs per year).

We no longer require submitting documentation with recertifications (but you may be audited).

We no longer require only "registered" courses (you decide what you need and we’ll agree with you).

Simple Recertification Procedures:

Once you have received your invoice for recertification, go to the ACAC website and click on the blue tab “RECERTIFY NOW.”  Enter your invoice number and amount due.  Enter the credit card information.  Attest to at least 20 hours of professional development during the past certification period.  Click “Pay Now” and you’re done for another two years!

Caution!

ACAC will randomly audit a percentage of those recertifying.  If you are one of those being audited, you will receive a notice and your certification will remain active on a provisional basis.  Submittal of the documented 20 hours of professional development will be required within 90 days or you voluntarily surrender your certification for lack of eligibility.
